The PAEC project (Program for Classroom, School, and Community) aimed to turn schools into open, collaborative spaces. It brought together teachers, students, and administrators to address environmental issues, especially the management of electronic waste (e-waste).

Environmental Education: Educational programs were implemented to raise students' awareness about the importance of recycling and the proper disposal of electronic waste.
Active Recycling: Collection points for electronic waste were established in schools, which facilitated recycling and prevented pollution.
Community Participation: The involvement of parents, teachers, and students in waste management activities was encouraged, which created a sense of shared responsibility.
Purpose in the Electronic Waste School
Awareness of Waste: The PAEC aimed to increase awareness regarding the separation of solid waste, particularly in the realm of electronic waste.
Environmental Impact: The goal was to reduce pollution caused by electronic waste by educating the community about its negative effects on the environment.
Promotion of Sustainable Practices: The project encouraged sustainable practices within the school and fostered a cultural shift towards environmental care.
Very good work and initiative
ResponderBorrarRaising awareness about the proper disposal of electronic devices is essential.
ResponderBorrarMany people don't know that there are specific recycling centers for this type of waste, so providing information about these options can greatly help ensure a trash-free Tuxtepec.
E-waste is a growing problem in modern society, especially in the world of mobile telephony and here I give as an example how our addiction to technology and the search for the latest novelty can have negative consequences for the environment, how many of us have at least 2 phones, one in use and the previous one stored, waiting for it to be damaged and discarded.
ResponderBorrarIt is important to be aware of this problem and look for sustainable solutions, such as:
- Recycle and reuse electronic devices responsibly.
- Opting for more durable and repairable devices.
Every small change counts to mitigate the environmental impact of e-waste.
Incredible work, colleagues. It is important to reuse materials that no longer work so as not to harm the ecosystem and to be able to give life again to objects that no longer work.
ResponderBorrar"Electronic waste is a growing concern globally. The rapid obsolescence of devices and lack of proper disposal methods contribute to environmental pollution and health risks. Manufacturers and consumers must take responsibility for sustainable practices, such as recycling and eco-friendly design. Governments should implement stricter regulations to mitigate the issue. We must work together to reduce e-waste and promote a more environmentally conscious future."
